Holiday Magic at Historic Savage Mill

Oh, the holidays…what a magical time of year! Even if you’ve outgrown the giddiness you felt as a child, there’s still something that glows a bit brighter in all of us during this season.

We’re scouting out holiday events around town and wanted to share some info about Holiday Magic at Savage Mill. Savage Mill is an old mill that’s now home to unique shops, antique vendors and wonderful restaurants. It’s located about 13 miles (roughly 20 minutes) from The Wayside Inn.

Holiday Magic at the Mill includes puppet shows, strolling carolers, live jazz music, performances by the local high school bands and chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. There really is something for everyone.
